I got started in politics while I was attending Central Washington University, trying to get local democratic officials elected in a red district. After I graduated with a bachelors in political science, I became a field organizer and then campaign manager for a candidate running for the state legislature in Washington state. In 2019 I moved to Arizona and started working for a local healthcare organization committed to making our healthcare system work for us through direct action, legislation and the ballot box In 2022 I became the secretary for LD 26, and in 2024 I became the first vice chair of LD 26. In my free time I enjoy going to comedy shows, playing video games, and spending quality time with my husband and cats.
