As the Director of the Latino Indigenous Coalition of Arizona, a non-partisan organization, she works to educate and empower Latino and Indigenous communities across the state. Her leadership focuses on amplifying the voices of these communities, ensuring their concerns are heard, and driving positive social and political change.

Throughout her career, Veronica has been involved in various campaigns, including the successful Stop Dark Money campaign (Prop 211), which ensured political campaign transparency by requiring the disclosure of original donors. She has also organized around environmental justice, pollution, and the impact of gentrification in Arizona, particularly through her work with CHISPA AZ.  As Co-Chair of the Arizona Poor People’s Campaign, Veronica focused on addressing mass evictions, especially in mobile home parks, advocating for tenants’ rights and affordable housing.

In her role as LD26 Treasurer, Veronica ensures financial transparency, accountability, and proper checks and balances, overseeing budgeting and spending to maintain financial integrity within the organization.
